I am a certified Translator / Interpreter and a native speaker of both Pushto and Dari/Perisan/Farsi languages. My English language skills are as good as native. I hold EMBA and MSc degrees and a diploma in English language Teaching to Adults, and interpreting and translation are both a career and a passion.
I have worked as a translator and interpreter since 1998 and have done assignments for with prestigious organizations such as the Afghanistan Foreign Ministry, the World Bank, United Nations , Microsoft, BBC, ITV, Euro Talk etc on a wide range of areas such as immigration, health, legal, business, social, development, politics, military, civil works, education, IT, software localization ,etc.
I have traveled extensively in Afghanistan and am therefore very well familiar with various local dialects and traditions in the country. I value quality and timely delivery in my work.
Born and raised in Afghanistan, I studied in my hometown (Herat City, a western province of Afghanistan), graduated from high school and received my degree in English.
I have 3 years of experience in translation for NATO in Afghanistan, my job involved official document translation and interpreting on the field, at the meetings, and in the base clinic.
Following the translation job, I did 3 years of security training and management.
I'm currently writing blogs and travel guides online, managing social media accounts, and looking after the SEO of three websites
