I graduated in "Language Mediation Sciences" at the University of Macerata, in Italy and I studied English, Chinese, Spanish and French. I am sure my excellent communication skills and my natural inclination to accuracy and diligence can really make the difference for each fascinating work-experience.
In every detail my number one goal is to exceed expectations. As regards translation, I work as a freelance for four years focusing my work on the fields(tourism, technical, commercial, academic and birth certificates - some of which are related to my professional background and some to my personal interests) as well as carrying out voluntary translation for a number of organisations. With regards to interpreting, I worked during my school period as an Interpreter and tour guide for Erasmus students visiting Campobasso, my hometown . Elsewhere my experience includes language tuition of English, French and Spanish, language project coordination and languages courses.
With many years of experience in working as a translator(from Italian/English to semplified and traditional Chinese) for various international brands, I have developed the following areas of expertise:
Advertising, marketing, PR: catalogues, websites, brochures, press releases, advertising texts, company and product presentations, product lists.
Technical and Industry: user manuals, handbooks, product specifications and product information.
Literary: short stories, fairy tales, art.
I have studied Chinese language at university for five years, of which three spent in China. I lived almost 10 years in China and even though in Italy now, thanks to my job I've always kept relationship with this market and people. I don't do translation as my main job, but because of my different jobs during the time I did interpreting and translations as working duties, or just as a freelencer, that also helped me to be familiar with some subjects and areas of knowledge I wouldn't be if so.
I am a very reliable person, always delivering tasks by the due time.
