My experience in the Translator milieu started in 2012 with an in-house position at the Translation Department of the General Delegation for National Security of Cameroon, where I was assigned almost immediately after my graduation as Policeman from the “Mutengene Police training center”. My daily tasks included the translation of documents related to security and defense from English into French.
From 2014 to 2017, in parallel to my career as a civil servant, I trained as a translator.
In late 2017 I resigned from the Police Force to fully dedicate myself to translation.
From April 2018 to February 2020, I worked as a staff translator for 2 translation agencies in Yaoundé, namely EXPERTLING and MAITRIZ INTERNATIONAL LTD, in order to gain experience.
From March 2020 to date, I am working as a full-time freelance translator.
