Although I was born in Greece, as a I child I also lived and went to school in London and New Orleans. As a result, I have near-native proficiency in English (and a somewhat messed up accent). In fact, I often find it easier to express myself in English than in Greek.
It was during my law student years that I started translating and teaching English. I no longer teach but I have never stopped translating.
I used to practise law with a medium-size firm. For several years I taught at the Study Abroad program of Tulane Law School. I used to teach legal English at seminars for lawyers (organized by the Thessaloniki Bar Association) and courses for judges attending the Greek National College for the Judiciary. I have also worked as a legal resarcher at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I have a number of publications, including Greek legislation translated into English.
I enjoy working with clients who value professionalism, precision, creativity and in-depth understanding of legal nuances.

I have 5 years of experience as a Technical Secretary for a Public Constructions Company, where I had constant communication with Company Managers in foreign countries, dealing with imports and banking transactions. During that time, I also translated various documents (ENG-GR,GR-ENG).
The last 5 years I have been a professional translator in Greece. Nonetheless, my profession as an English teacher provides me with over 20 years of experience in translating.
